Made it, and couldn’t be happier! Today marks the two year anniversary of me saying “I Do!” to the love of my life. Not only will this be our second year celebrating, but the year we begin to grow our family. With a little over six weeks until our due date, we will be welcoming a new member to our family. I would say we are ready, but not sure if we are “ready” if you know what I mean.
Over the past couple of years we have been on several excursions visiting the Bahamas, Aspen, Tybee Island, Savannah, Cabo San Lucas and other cities within driving distance from Lexington. It has been extremely exciting and I can’t wait to create new memories and get back to the once visited childhood dream of Disney, amusement parks, zoos and more with our little man.
What can I offer to those looking for advice? I would say marriage is something you work at. It is not easy unless you work on both sides of the equation. No one party is ever always right, but it takes more than just agreeing about everything. Don’t jump into anything without trial and error. Take your time to make sure it is the right thing to do. After all, marriage is a sacred part of life and not something to be taken lightly like celebrities and cheesecake.
